On December 9 2025 StreetSolid gave the invited keynote speech at the Nordic Rule of Law Conference in Sweden. We were invited there to add perspective and provide insights that might help the Nordic and EU countries with the increasing youth crime they are experiencing. The talk was entitled, “Resilience in the Face of Repression - Empowering Individuals in Marginalized Systems,” and it’s focus was on StreetSolid’s approach to instilling resilience in the face of a system of disenfranchisement. The conference was attended by EU and UN judges, lawyers, legal experts, and non-profits dealing with justice involved youth.
On day two of the conference, two StreetSolid facilitators (Ron Johnson and Tay McGee) gave a workshop demonstrating “StreetSolid in action.” The workshop was attended by many NGOs as well as several former EU gang members. To say StreetSolid made an impression would be an understatement. We were asked to return (by several attendees) to teach EU facilitators the StreetSolid methods and are currently making such arrangements.
Overall, sharing our knowledge and methods was a great experience for StreetSolid. We hope we offered some actionable insights to our like-minded European partners.
